Sweetest Smiles is a small home bakery in Long Beach, California - not a registered business. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and who has access to it. We keep things simple because the site itself is simple.

We collect two categories of information:

Order request information

When you submit an order request, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and any notes you include. This information is submitted through our order form and delivered to us via Resend, an email delivery service. Resend processes your contact details to send you a confirmation email and to deliver your order notification to us.

Anonymous site usage data

Our website uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the site is used and how fast it loads. These tools do not use cookies and do not store your IP address or any personal identifiers. Data is collected anonymously and aggregated - there is no way to identify you individually from it. Each analytics record includes only: the page visited, the referring URL, your general device type and browser, your country and region, and a timestamp.

How we use it

  • Order request information is used only to respond to your inquiry, confirm your order, and fulfill it.
  • Anonymous usage data is used to improve the site - for example, to see which pages are visited most or whether the site loads quickly on mobile devices.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data retention

Order emails are kept in our inbox for as long as needed to fulfill your order. Resend retains delivery logs for up to 30 days. Vercel analytics data is anonymous and aggregated -- there is nothing to retain on an individual basis.
